This challenge was simple. I picked the top 5 people who positively impacted my life and wrote them a letter of appreciation. It was awesome.
I tried a few different strategies but quickly realized the optimal approach was to write the letter first thing in the morning. Not only did it allow me to speak from the heart, but I was more focused and enjoyed the process way more. It also helped me maintain a positive mindset throughout the day.
The responses were varied, but the overarching emotion was gratitude and an increased sense of closeness, something which we could all benefit from given the uncertainty of life during the coronavirus pandemic.
I highly recommend this challenge to anyone who wants to express how they truly feel and let those around you know how much you care about them and how deeply they impacted your life.
